High in the rugged mountains of Pano Panagia, Cyprus, Vouni Panayia Winery has been shaping the story of Cypriot wine since its founding in 1987 by viticulturist Andreas Kyriakides. The family’s philosophy centers on authenticity and sustainability, producing wines exclusively from native grape varieties such as Xynisteri, Promara, Spourtiko, Maratheftiko, and Yiannoudi. Grown on ungrafted vines in the island’s phylloxera-free soils and nurtured by the cool mountain air, these grapes yield wines of remarkable purity, tension, and depth—faithful reflections of their high-altitude origins and Cyprus’s timeless winemaking heritage.
