Fontanavecchia

Campania, Italy

Fontanavecchia is a family-owned estate nestled in the hills of Torrecuso in Campania’s Benevento province, where the Rillo family has cultivated vines for generations. With vineyards rooted in the clay-limestone soils of the Taburno massif, the estate focuses on native grape varieties such as Aglianico, Falanghina, Greco, and Fiano. Combining traditional winemaking with modern precision, Fontanavecchia produces wines that are deeply expressive of their terroir—elegant, structured, and rich in character. Particularly noted for their age-worthy Aglianico del Taburno and vibrant white wines, the estate exemplifies the soulful authenticity and potential of Campania’s high-altitude viticulture.
