Château d’Astros is a historic, family-run estate in the heart of Provence, where eight generations of the Maurel family have stewarded the land since the early 1800s. Set on a former 13th-century Templar commandery, the property spans nearly 680 hectares of protected nature, including 80 hectares of organically farmed vineyards rooted in alluvial and limestone soils. The estate focuses on traditional Provençal varieties like Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Rolle to produce elegant, expressive wines—particularly its signature Côtes de Provence rosés, known for their freshness, balance, and finesse.
