VignaMato

Marche, Italy

S.A. Dirupi is a dynamic, small-scale winery based in the rugged terraced vineyards of Valtellina in Lombardy, founded by two young oenologists, Davide Fasolini and Pierpaolo Di Franco. Since the early 2000s, they have farmed just 4.5 hectares of steep, hand-tended, organically cultivated Nebbiolo vines rooted in the region’s ancient stone-walled slopes. Working from a restored 16th-century cellar in Ponte in Valtellina, they craft a range of mountain Nebbiolo wines—Rosso di Valtellina, Valtellina Superiore, and Sforzato—that are pure, expressive, and energetic, capturing the tension and grace of high-altitude viticulture with precision and soul.
