Ayunta
Sicily, Italy
Ayunta is a family-owned, small grape farm and winery cultivating 2.8 hectares of old vineyards nearly 700 meters above sea level on the northern slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily, near the village of Randazzo, about an hour north of Catania. The estate is dedicated to producing wines that express the unique personality of the terroir and the indigenous grape varieties of Mount Etna. All vineyard work is carried out manually, without the use of chemicals, and the wines are crafted in an artisanal manner using only the finest grapes. Ayunta strives for elegance, balance, and freshness in its wines, capturing the pure essence of the land and the distinct character of each vintage and vineyard. The winemaking philosophy is simple—only grapes and only time—and the wines are released solely when they are ready.
