Francesco Vezzelli is a historic family estate in Emilia-Romagna, established in 1958 by Francesco Vezzelli who pioneered estate-bottling in a region then dominated by cooperatives. Today, his son Roberto continues the legacy on 16 hectares of fertile vineyards near Modena, focusing on traditional Lambrusco varieties, particularly Lambrusco di Sorbara and Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro. Using the Charmat method, the winery crafts fresh, vibrant sparkling wines that highlight purity, elegance, and the authentic character of their terroir. Notable expressions include a bone-dry rosé brut, lively Sorbara selections, and richly expressive Grasparossa cuvées, all embodying the depth and joy of Lambrusco.
